About The Founder

The founder of Baobelion is a licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and certification as a Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR). With over eight years of clinical experience, including seven years in surgical care and one year in occupational health, she brings a deep understanding of patient care, clinical operations, and medical safety to the assisted living industry. Her professional path also includes credentials as a Licensed Realtor and three years of experience as a real estate investor, where she completed fix-and-flip projects. This unique combination of healthcare expertise and real estate knowledge forms a solid foundation for building and managing assisted living facilities from both a clinical and operational standpoint.

Her passion for caregiving began early in life, sparked by the idea of serving others while exploring new places. This aspiration became a reality in 2018 when she took her first travel nursing assignment, relocating from Mississippi to Montana as a single mother of three young daughters. The experience not only strengthened her professional resilience but also deepened her commitment to serving people in vulnerable situations. That commitment became personal in 2023, when she lost her sister in a nursing home in Louisiana due to complications related to poor care. This profound and painful loss became the driving force behind her decision to open an assisted living facility that prioritizes respect, dignity, and attentive care for every resident. In 2025, she earned her Assisted Living Administrator License in Florida, taking the next step toward creating a facility where seniors are treated with the kindness and compassion they deserve. The name Baobelion reflects this mission—it draws inspiration from the Baobab tree, known as the “tree of life,” symbolizing endurance and care, and from “elion,” meaning “most high,” reflecting a faith-based purpose in service. Her vision is to build more than just a care facility—it is to create a community rooted in peace, love, and excellence for those who can no longer fully care for themselves.
